Frequently asked questions
Everything we're most often asked, from booking timelines to how balloons hold up in the Marbella sun. Can't find your answer here? Get in touch and we'll help directly.
Do we need to book in advance?
Yes, we strongly recommend booking 6 to 12 months in advance, especially for peak season. Marbella's busiest months are May, June and September, and weekends fill up quickly. That said, we may be able to accommodate last-minute bookings depending on availability, so it's always worth asking.
How long does set-up take for our event?
For most events, our team arrives around 3 hours before your guests, to complete the full venue makeover. We always finish and leave before guests arrive, so nothing gives away the surprise; we like to be discreet, not have our van spotted on site. Set-up time can vary depending on the size and complexity of your décor, and we'll confirm timings with you when you book.
How long is décor hire for?
All décor rentals cover one event, one day or evening. We handle both installation and collection, returning the following morning to remove everything we've hired. Balloon décor looks its best on day one, especially outdoors, so if you'd like your balloons and decorations to last longer, let us know and we can talk through the options.
How long do balloons last?
Outdoor balloons look their best on day one, and how they hold up afterwards depends on the weather, so we can't guarantee their appearance beyond that. For longer-lasting results, an indoor set-up is best. For helium balloons specifically, latex balloons look their best for the first 24 hours and typically last around 2 days, while foil balloons usually last 3 days or more, depending on size and conditions.
Do balloons pop in the heat?
We use strong, professional-grade balloons and work in outdoor heat regularly. In hot weather, balloons can go matte and lose some of their shine, a natural effect of the sun and heat, though we still love that sun-kissed look. We don't offer a shine spray, as it increases the chance of balloons popping in the sun. In very high temperatures we recommend installing balloons in the shade, and once temperatures reach the 40s, an occasional latex balloon may pop. With the volume of balloons in our bespoke garlands, though, you'd never notice one or two. In summer, we don't recommend foil balloons outdoors; they're best kept inside.
Are you insured?
Yes, we're a registered SL company with over €1 million in public liability insurance, so you can book with complete peace of mind.
Do you only cover Marbella?
We're based in Marbella, but we travel across the Costa del Sol and nearby inland areas too, including Mijas, Malaga, Puerto Banús, Estepona, Sotogrande, Benahavís and Alhaurín el Grande. We also work regularly at well-known venues such as Cortijo Bravo in Vélez-Málaga and Finca Monasterio in Sotogrande. For events further outside Marbella, a minimum spend and travel fee may apply. We're also happy to travel anywhere in Spain, or the world, for large-scale balloon art installations. From 2027, we'll also be offering our services in Gibraltar.
Which events do you cover?
We specialise in luxury event décor in Marbella for all occasions, including weddings, hen parties, birthdays, corporate events and private celebrations.
What is your cancellation policy?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at booking. Most events are outdoors, but it is important to have a plan B for rain. If winds are too strong for the white bouncy castle or pool balloons, those specific items can be cancelled on the morning of the event when booked alongside other rental items, or we'll explore alternative options. This will all be planned and thought through when you book.
